We’re seeking a skilled web developer (or small team) to build a modern, national “rate snapshot” web app end-to-end — including the automated backend data pipeline and the customer-facing website. User experience: visitors select a location (city + radius/state), billing code(s), payer(s), and a few options using simple dropdowns. The price updates instantly based on selections. Users then pay via Stripe and immediately view results on a secure, time-limited link (no account required). Backend/data requirements: the system must automatically ingest and maintain a large national dataset from publicly available insurer machine-readable pricing files (updated on a regular cadence). This includes discovery/downloading, parsing large compressed files (ZIP/GZ/JSON), normalizing into a searchable database, and keeping a “coverage/last updated” view so the product stays current with minimal manual intervention. What you’ll build: Modern storefront-style UI (dropdown builder + dynamic pricing + cart/checkout) Stripe Checkout + webhooks + time-limited access links (“magic links”) Results UI (benchmarks + ranked results, fast filters, basic visuals) Backend API to power the UI (fast queries, caching, scope enforcement) Automated ingestion/processing pipeline (scheduled runs, retries, monitoring) Admin tools (manage pricing rules, payer coverage status, order lookup) We want this to be production-grade, reliable, and as automated as possible after launch.
